'The Empire Strikes Back' Day at Dodger Stadium, Jose Lima's Last Game

Retired Dodgers pitcher, Jose Lima, who was last seen at the game Friday evening, died May 23.
The Dodgers and Lucasfilm celebrated the 30th Anniversary of 'The Empire Strikes Back' on May 21 with the first 20,000 fans receiving a commemorative poster. Darth Vader, Chewbacca, R2-D2, Boba Fett, Stormtroopers and X-Wing pilots gave fans a small treat before the game, posing for photo in center field, while Chewbacca threw out the first pitch. The Dodgers beat the Detroit Tigers 4-1 during the first inter-league game of the season. Subsequently, retired Dodgers pitcher, Jose Lima, who was last seen at the game Friday evening, died May 23.
