Batman, Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man, again (and again). It happens just about every summer, the wave of costumes tied to the release of the latest superhero movie. In 2013, with the Iron Man franchise wrapped up, it's Superman's turn. Here's a diverse collection of Superman cosplayers from coast to coast who were sporting the symbol for "Hope" on their chests -- pre-Man of Steel -- when it was just an "S."

  • Karaoke Pole Dancing @ The Viper Room
    Sam's Hofbrau presented "Sam Tripoli's Rock N Pole Championship" this week at The Viper Room. Paired up karaoke singers and pole dancers competed for a nice cash prize and Hollywood Hustler gift bags. Entertainment included a special appearance by porn star Tera Patrick, serving as judge, and performing a burlesque number. All photos by Nanette Gonzales.
