Springing Into Dapper Day at Disneyland With Dita Von Teese

Dapper Day has become such a mainstay of the Disneyland Resort that people rarely even ask what is going on anymore. Instead you hear the guests in the wrinkled shorts and sticky tank tops murmuring to one another "oh, that's right. It's Dapper Day." That's right, it is Dapper Day. The day when thousands of well-dressed, pressed and not distressed guests come to Disneyland to party like it's 1954.

Over at the Dapper Day Expo (only $10 to get in all weekend), Dita Von Teese made a special appearance to sign books and take photos before jetting off to Dallas to start her latest tour, which will be in Riverside on June 24. Retailers from around the country flew in to staff special booths, and of course Pin Up Girl Clothing debuted its new Dapper Day prints.

Meanwhile, Pin-Up Parade in the Park decided to merge with Dapper Day, causing an overload of gorgeous at the Small World ride, as well as some happy campers who won Pin Up Girl gift cards by answering really tough trivia questions. Did you know Goofy was once called Dippy Dog?

Dapper Day will return this fall, but in the meantime don't be afraid to dapper up and come to the park, it is happening more and more every day as the dapper spreads.
