On November 23 the annual Doo Dah Parade Queen Tryouts were held at the American Legion Hall in Pasadena. Royal hopefuls came in costume and performed their best talents for a panel of beer-guzzling judges. Best part? Dr. Demento was the MC, introducing the event by saying, "Behind every good man is a woman..."
