On Sat, MOCA hosted the book launch of Outside The Lines: An Artists Coloring Book for Giant Imaginations. The party featured a black and white art wall up for kids and adults to color on, and artists were on hand for fans to meet. Curated by Souris Hong-Porretta, this coloring book features work from more than 100 contemporary artists including Keith Haring, Laurie Lipton, Shepard Fairey, Risk and Gary Baseman.   • Karaoke Pole Dancing @ The Viper Room
    Sam's Hofbrau presented "Sam Tripoli's Rock N Pole Championship" this week at The Viper Room. Paired up karaoke singers and pole dancers competed for a nice cash prize and Hollywood Hustler gift bags. Entertainment included a special appearance by porn star Tera Patrick, serving as judge, and performing a burlesque number. All photos by Nanette Gonzales.

    L.A. has a very small pool of Burmese restaurants; among them, Daw Yee does not boast the most extensive menu. Nonetheless, Daw Yee, in Monterey Park, is fascinating for one big reason — namely, that it gives L.A. something unusual: a Burmese restaurant that caters to younger diners.
