Los Angeles Chinese New Year Parade

1 of 53

The Lunar New Year is celebrated every year in L.A. with a vibrant parade that takes place on North Broadway in downtown. On Saturday, over 80,000 people gathered in Chinatown to see the 114th Annual Golden Dragon Parade celebrating the Year of the Snake. Joyful attendants shot paper firecrackers into the air as marching bands, floats, various dignitaries, business leaders and cultural groups travelled the parade route.
