L.A. People Issue 2010: The Photographs

For our 5th annual People Issue, photographer Kevin Scanlon shot more than 60 incredible images and some of L.A. Weekly's best writers set out to capture portraits of the robot builders and burlesque queens... the tech wizards and rock stars... the activists, comedians, political warriors and policy wonks... the scientists, sexperts and fabulous foodies... plus the nightlife shapers, art makers and fashion provocateurs that make L.A. the only place to live.
