Beyond the Stage: Street Drum Corps @ The Roxy

December 10, 2010
Street Drum Corps (Bobby Alt, Adam Alt and Frank Zummo) ended their "Big Noise" residency at the Roxy with a bang on 12/7. Our favorite band of misfit drummers were joined by special guests including Jeremy Piven, Bert McCracken (The Used), Atom Willard (Angels & Airwaves), Ilan Rubin (Nine Inch Nails), Jack Irons (Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers), John Feldmann (Goldfinger), Jeff Friedl (Ashes Divide, Puscifer), DJ Aero (Methods of Mayhem), singer Zoe Bonham and rapper Def Jef helped Street Drum Corps bring to life selections from their three instrumental albums Big Noise (2010), We Are Machines (2008) and Street Drum Corps (2006), along with unreleased tracks from the band's forthcoming 2011 album with Bobby Alt on vocals. We followed the band backstage and onstage. All photos by Shannon Cottrell.
