Almost 15,000 Dapper Dans and Danielle's filled Disneyland on February 24th with beautifully dressed men, women and children. While the vast majority of the attendees were in their vintage or vintage-inspired best, the event is for any who wish to help realize the concept illustrations made by the original Disney theme park designers by wearing their fashionable best. All photos by Star Foreman.
Wouldn't it make more sense if you love the photos to hire the photographer who shot them, namely me. I just want to make clear that you were not the photographer for this slideshow, in case anyone was confused
@StarForeman Are you the only photographer who can capture the fun of Dapper Day? Super-saturation does not a good photographer make. You have your style, other photographers have theirs. It's good to have a choice.
@madbouncer@StarForeman I've never posted here before so yes, I did have to make an account to reply, but I followed this link from Facebook. Personally, I wouldn't have thought that you were available for hire anyway, and I don't see how this is YOUR website. I'm not a photographer, but I just thought you came off kinda harsh at the guy. He didn't say anything negative about your photography, and if anything, it seems to me he was trying to use the event and not the photos to entice people to hire him.
but the ONLY photographer in this slideshow is me. I prefer people NOT
try and solicit work off of my images. I'm sure you would understand if
someone was soliciting work off of your website. Of course, since you made a blind profile just for the purposes of making this one comment I couldn't say anything about your work.
Why wait for Dapper Day to dress up and have fun at Disneyland? Hire your own personal photographer and it can be Dapper Day anytime you want. VERY affordable and LOTS OF FUN! Book me and I'll meet you at the park to take photos of you and your group dressed in your Sunday best. Visit my FB page or write me directly at email@example.com.
