2013 Cherry Blossom and Anime Festival

On April 6, the 2013 Cherry Blossom and Anime Festival celebrated Japanese fashion and pop culture. The Cultural Alliance of Long Beach turned into a micro anime convention filled with local vendors, cosplayers and fans of Japanese street fashion. Little Tokyo shop Fairytale Boutique hosted a Lolita fashion show. There were arts and crafts workshops and a cosplay contest. The evening programming included live performances from rock band Lolita Dark and singer Stephanie Yanez. All photos by Liz Ohanesian.
