Cheetah's

Cheetah’s is a great venue for newbies and/or those looking for a sexy, but not too intense experience. The girls are among the sexiest anywhere and the pole work is beyond belief. You’re likely to spot a few celebs on weeknights and bringing a date can be fun as lots of couples frequent the place. If visiting on weekends, get there early as it can get packed in a hurry.

Jumbo's Clown Room

Far from being a typical strip club, Jumbo’s defies categorization. Courtney Love danced here before she was a rock star, dancers pick up tossed currency using skilled ass cheeks, and many a celebrity has been spotted in the raucous crowd. For no cover charge, cheap beer and hard liquor pouring forth from the long-time bartenders (find Barbara for the generous pour), come to where old-time cheese meets Hollywood sleaze (and we mean that lovingly).

Plan B

There is finally an upscale restaurant and full bar with bikini dancers in Los Angeles, that can be recommended for after-business wind-down meetings and couples to entertain themselves. The best thing about this place is the great late-night food and eye candy. This is not the place to come for nasty lap dances. Over time, this place will probably become a hot hangout for celebrities and upscale partiers. The garlic shrimp and goat cheese salad – at $10 and $7, respectively – are a steal.

Sam's Hofbrau

On almost everyone’s favorite strip-club list, Sam’s is one of the most entertaining clubs – period – in the US. Free admission, good food any time of the day or night, friendly staff (especially the girls), and a seemingly endless beer menu make this downtown strip bar one of the best in town. Tip: don’t let the “ghetto” outside fool you; the place is pure downtown retro chic.
