Valentine's Day is like a lot of food holidays: Whether it is relevant to you really depends on whether you believe in the thing that's being celebrated. And thus if you (or your partner) believe in Valentine's Day, no doubt you already have something sweet and romantic and lovely planned - a nice, low-key dinner at home, maybe, far removed from the holiday traffic.
