Westsiders, rejoice: You now can get Silver Lake's popular Knuckle & Claw lobster rolls without having to cross the 405.

The second outpost of the Martha's Vineyard–inspired seafood shack from owners Nikki Booth and Chloe Dahl is the latest spot to grace Santa Monica's bustling Main Street. It's offering its simply dressed seafood sandwiches plus a few new menu items exclusive to the new location.

Fans of the classics will be able to get their fill of hot buttered rolls stuffed to the brim with Maine shrimp, shredded blue or Dungeness crab and lobster 48 hours fresh out of the water. Lobster-stuffed grilled cheese sandwiches, honey dijon slaw and clam chowder have made the trip westward as well.

For those looking to try something lighter, Knuckle & Claw has expanded its menu to include a salad of crisp lettuces, fresh corn and sweet cherry tomatoes topped off with a choice of lobster, crab or shrimp. It's also added to the menu miniature blue crab cakes called "blue bites" and upped the oyster ante with a rotating selection of fresh oysters from both coasts, which you can enjoy at the oyster bar or in true low-key East Coaster style, on a sheet pan lined with salt, perfect to be enjoyed outside on their sunlit back patio. Plus, on "Go Shuck Yourself" Thursdays from 5 to 10 p.m., you'll find one of the best seafood deals in the neighborhood: $1 oysters until close.

The relaxed vibe of the Silver Lake location translates well to Santa Monica's Main Street, especially the increased seating, which allows you to linger in the summer sun with a platter of deliciously unadulterated seafood. While the space is primed to become a go-to Santa Monica seafood hangout, there have been some delays with the liquor license, so you'll have to stick with the sodas and artisan lemonade for now. In lieu of liquor, end your meal with a chocolatey whoopie pie bar.
