Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is: More Haiti Fundraisers Around Town
Chefs and restaurant employees around the city are generously donating their time to raise money for Haiti. Here is a list of places you can donate while you dine.
The Edison will donate all door proceeds this week to the Haiti relief fund. On Friday, Jan. 22th from 5pm-8pm, the bar will be hosting Hollywood For Haiti, with a silent auction including: The Most Interesting Man in the World Dinner for Two, Alice Cooper 1970's Tour Souvenirs, Tim Burton Autographed Artist Proof Books, Dodger Dugout Tickets, Kings Tickets and Memorabilia, Cold Case Set Visit and Lunch with Kathryn Morris, Edison Whiskey Tasting for Six.
Twenty-one food trucks will park at the TLofts in West L.A. on Saturday, to help raise money for the Red Cross International Response Fund relief efforts for Haiti. Part of the day's proceeds go to the Red Cross, and Red Cross representatives will be there to accept donations. Jan 23, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., 11500 Tennessee Ave., Los Angeles.

The Larder at Tavern is donating $3 per brown bag lunch to Haiti relief efforts. What's in the bag? A sandwich on house-made bread, a farmer's market apple, house-made sweet potato chips, and a cookie of your choice.
