Plate, LA Weekly's Food and Wine Event, 2013: Your Visual Aid
Lukshon's scallops at Plate
For all of you who filled the Petersen Automotive Museum yesterday for Plate, our fifth annual food and wine event, thanks very much for coming. And of, course, thanks to all the chefs and food and wine professionals who brought you your plates of cochinita pibil tacos, salmon sushi, happily incendiary curry and ceviche, peel-and-eat shrimp and Whoopie pies, just to name a few of the many, many glorious dishes that everybody spent hours eating, in between checking out all those cars.
If you drank too much wine to properly remember all the stuff you ate and all the FUN you had, check out Anne Fishbein's stunning slideshow. And see you next year.
