Larchmont Larder, Saigon Noodle House Get Hitched

It's not quite a restaurant opening or a pop-up, but Saigon Noodle House is moving in with Larchmont Larder. Starting today, the Vietnamese-French restaurant will set up kitchen in the cafe and deli during the evenings. The in-house restaurant will operate Tuesday through Thursday (5-10 p.m.), Saturday (5-11 p.m.) and Sunday (noon-10 p.m.). Chef Phuong Tran plans a noodle-heavy menu of market-driven dishes.
In an email to customers, Larchmont Larder makes no bones about the fact that this unusual arrangement is "due to our ever-rocky economic climate and a desire to increase our visibility in the community." It's a unique strategy, but one that may just work. And if it does, perhaps we'll see this dual restaurant set-up more often.
The Larchmont Larder will carry the same items and remain open as a cafe Monday through Saturday (8 a.m.-4 p.m.). If you have ordered Wednesday Night Dinners, you can pick them up after 3 p.m.
