Hot Knives Host Vegan BBQ Sunday at Verdugo Bar
This Sunday, August 16th, the Hot Knives guys invite you to a vegan BBQ in the "gnosh pit" where they're going to be calling all the shots. Sounds intimidating, but in vegan that just means means they're going to pair your sandwich with a beer and beat you at checkers.
So prepare to get served, vegan-style. On the menu: a "pulled pork" sandwich, curry seitan banh mi, homemade potato chips, seeded cole slaw, and beer popsicles for dessert. From 2 to 7 p.m. bring your friends and board games to the patio at Verdugo Bar, where most everything on the menu runs about $4 each (bring cash), and the noise music and good vibes will be flowing freely.
