Free Food Today at Cafe Rio in Lakewood
The newest location of Cafe Rio Mexican Grill, in Lakewood, is giving out free meals all day today, form 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. It's part of a promo to mark the restaurant's opening. There will, however, be a tip jar next to the cash register soliciting donations for The Boys and Girls Club. (Hint, hint.) A chain with locations in Lake Forest, Manhattan Beach, Costa Mesa, Tustin, Oxnard, Lakewood and Redlands, Cafe Rio has a tradition of making a donation to a local charity or school whenever one of their new restaurants opens.
