Food Word Clouds: Michael Voltaggio's Ink. Menu
Ink. word cloud
Sure, many of us often long for the days of vellum and foolscap, or maybe manual typewriters, or at the very least dense newsprint and certain glossy Condé Nast magazines, instead of the relentlessness of Twitter's Ritalin haiku and, yeah, food blogs. But sometimes technology is pretty awesome. Consider the word cloud, which is not only very, very cool but sounds kind of like the mash-up brainchild of Steve Jobs and William Wordsworth.
Today's word cloud -- in which a block of text is reworked into a jigsaw of relevant words, with the most frequently used appearing larger than the rest -- was generated from Michael Voltaggio's menu at Ink., or at least the one currently on his website. Look super close. See if you can find "mushroom hay."
