Drink These, You Must: Star Wars Cocktails at Catch & Release
ZOMG! Star Wars cocktails
Tessa Nao, Sprout Group
If you've ever wondered what Lando Calrissian and Han Solo might sip after a long day of blowing up Imperial Star Destroyers or completing the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, you might find the droids you're looking for at Catch & Release.
All next week (Dec. 14-20) Jason Neroni's Marina del Rey seafood restaurant will be slinging a list of Star Wars-inspired cocktails to celebrate the long-awaited release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. They'll be screening the old Star Wars films on TV’s in the bar throughout the weekend and are offering 10 percent off the bill for any scruffy-looking Nerfherder who brings in a ticket stub from the movie.
We can only hope the Mos Eisley Cantina band song is played a few times, too.
Here's what's on the list:
Dark Side Buck
Kraken Rum, lime juice, ginger syrup, soda
Qui-Gon Jinn Rickey
Gin, lime, simple syrup, soda
Vodka, cucumber, mint, simple syrup, lime
Moi Eisley Cantina Honey Sour
Tequila, lemon, honey, flamed grapefruit peel
Wookies & Cream
Cacao-infused Sailor Jerry, honey, cream
Han Shot First
Shot of Old Overholt Rye and a Saint Archer Blonde Ale
