Alice High Tea Set at Royal/T: Tiny Food for Tiny Stomachs
It's best not to be hungry when you order the Alice in Wonderland High Tea Set ($25) at Royal/T. You get: a mini "Eat Me" cupcake with a piece of marshmallow on top, two "Deep Purple"
macaroons macarons, a sugary blue mushroom thing, four "Playing Cards" open face sandwiches shaped like spades/clovers/hearts/diamonds, a square of flan, and ONE slider. Oh yes, and a pot of tea. The girls I went with, being "quantity over quality" types, lamented the miniscule portions. If they fell through the rabbit hole and had to create their own version of the tea set, they said, it would consist entirely of tiny hamburgers. Or chicken wings.
The Royal/T Alice-themed tea set is on the menu until March 31.
Alice in Wonderland High Tea Set...Actual Size. (No, just kidding.)
