6/26 Day: Restaurant Deals in the San Gabriel Valley
The San Gabriel Valley food scene has gotten a lot of publicity lately. First the 626 Night Market and now, from the same organizers: 6/26 Day. The "626" is derived from the valley's area code.
"626 Day is a day for small businesses in the area to offer special discounts and bring together members of the 626 community," Aileen Xu, who is part of the 626 Night Market team, told us.
The organizers have provided Squid Ink with a list of current restaurant deals exclusively tomorrow, Tuesday, June 26. For other offers and discounts, a listing will be put up on their website.
List of restaurants and deals:
Free select appetizers with purchase of any regular-price drink. Example: free toast, free tea eggs, free dim sum (Pasadena store only).
Free samples of dim sum donuts and carnita nachos. Also, Taco Tuesdays discount.
Free pearls (boba) with the purchase of any drink or free mini mochi with a $5 or more purchase (limit one per person)
6.26% of 6/26 related proceeds will go to a charity. R2 then will match the amount donated.
For the 6/26 promotion event, every customer who dines in that day will receive a free dessert.
Cheers! wants to advertise Karaoke Tuesdays (Spanish and English), Happy Hour 5-7 p.m. $2 off all beer, and Yummy! Portebello Fries.
