Woman Dies After Unlicensed Plastic Surgery
Guadalupe Viveros, 53, and Alejandra Viveros, 50, were arrested last month for practicing medicine without a license after injecting "fillers" into alleged victims' face and buttocks. This is essentially unlicensed practice surgery.
The fillers were not medically safe, and now one of the, er, patients, has died. The women, no longer in custody are wanted for questioning.
Police say the fillers were made with plastic compounds that hardened, and then became infected. That sounds awful.
Investigators are looking for more alleged victims, as well as the suspects. Contact the detectives at 818-834-3115.
