UCLA Basketball Uniforms Universally Hated
Adidas

UCLA's one-off Adidas uniforms, rolled out for the school's bid at Pac-12 basketball supremacy, are supposed to "stun your opponents" and convey a sense of motion that's "crazy fast," according to the sportswear maker.

But some fans think they're just plain crazy.

The website Deadspin got a hold of emails to the school confirming near-universal hatred for the Zubaz-style camo-ish sleeves and shorts:

The report says every single fan who emailed athletic director Dan Guerrero recently expressed displeasure with the new look.

Sample:

One game with these laughably bad threads would be too many. The entirety of post-season play with these uniforms would literally be an affront to Mr. Wooden's legacy and the beautiful tradition of Bruin basketball. Please put an end to this. I implore you.

Even an assistant professor psychiatry, UCSD's Douglas C. Johnson, weighed in to say the looks were pscyo:

We're UCLA, not a circus. Encourage leadership support tradition and excellence, not bad style over substance. This is a no-brainer guys.

Read more of the emails here.

Alas, the uniforms were worn only once and will not make a comeback as 6-seeded UCLA vies for a championship at the NCAA tournament. Thank the lord.
