Two Arrested In Murder Of Santa Monica Actress
Santa Monica police announced Friday that they've arrested two suspects in the murder of 21-year-old actress Juliana Redding, who was found dead in her apartment in the 1500 block of Centinela Avenue on March 16, 2008 after police went there to conduct a welfare check at the behest of her mother. Kelly Soo Park, 44, and Ronnie Wayne Case, 34, both of Camarillo, were arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of murder with special circumstances and "conspiracy," according to Santa Monica police. Sgt. Jay Trisler states:
Detectives with the Santa Monica Police Department put in thousands of hours conducting this investigation and worked in cooperation with law enforcement agencies from the Torrance Police Department, Oxnard Police Department, FBI, LA Impact and Ventura County Combined Agencies Team (VCAT).
Motive for the alleged crime was not revealed. Police, however, still seem to be digging around and have asked for anyone with information about the suspects to call them at 310-458-8449.
