Today in Photographs: July 10, 1987
Joseph Markowski, facing attempted-murder and attempted-poisoning charges, remains masked as he is ordered in L.A. Municipal Court to undergo psychiatric evaluation. Markowski was accused of having sex, as well as selling his blood, knowing he had tested positive for HIV. The following year the charges were dropped.
