The Deadline to Register to Vote Is Today
Yes, there's an election next month.
So called midterm elections (two years before or after presidential elections) are notorious for their low turnout. But if you don't vote, you can't complain about the clowns elected by the people who do.
Jobs up for your approval in Los Angeles County include seats in congress and the state legislature, governor, lieutenant governor, state attorney general, county supervisor, sheriff and more. Here's what you can still do to get your vote on if you're not registered:

TicketsSun., Jan. 29, 2:00pm
Anaheim Ducks v. Colorado Avalanche
TicketsTue., Jan. 31, 7:00pm
Los Angeles Lakers v Denver Nuggets - Verified Resale Tickets

The good news is that you have all day today — until 11:59 p.m. — to register. And, knowing our Angelenos, you'll need it.
Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan says you're not registered if your address has changed. You'll also lose your registration if you haven't voted in the last few elections.
You can drop off a registration form (available at government buildings such as post offices and libraries) at the Registrar's headquarters at 12400 Imperial Highway, Norwalk.
Finally, you can register in person at UCLA or Cal State Los Angeles from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.
