SoCal Dominates Top Instagram Photo Locations in 2014
Southern California locations took the top two positions on Instagram's annual list of users' most-geotagged places around the world.
No. 1 was Disneyland in Anaheim, a perennial favorite for Instagram users. No. 2 was Dodger Stadium in Elysian Park, also a frequent fave. Although Greater L.A. represents the first- and second-place winners, L.A. Observed notes that more SoCal locations were on the top 10 list in years past.
Perhaps the app has gone more global.
Times Square came in third, Thailand's Siam Paragon shopping center came in fourth, and Gorky Park in Moscow rounded out the top five most-popular locations for Instagram photos.
