Sage Stallone, Sylvester Stallone's Son, Found Dead in Hollywood Hills Apartment: Report
A former child actor and current Hollywood mini-mogul with an iconic last name was found dead in his Hollywood Hills home today, reports the New York Post.
Sage Moonblood Stallone, 36, son of actor Sylvester Stallone and actress Sasha Czack, is best known for playing his father's on-film son in Rocky V. But in his adulthood, the younger Stallone took to the business side of the industry, co-founding cult film distribution company Grindhouse Releasing.
TMZ's sources say he was discovered...
... "by either a maid or his girlfriend" after possibly dying from "an overdose of pills." But his lawyer tells the Post that in the days leading up to this tragedy, Stallone "was in good spirits, and working on all kinds of projects. He was planning on getting married."

The attorney describes Stallone as "an extremely wonderful, loving guy."
Here he is with his father in the 1990 installment of Rocky:
When we ask LAPD media relations to confirm Stallone's death, Officer Cleon Joseph will only say that multiple units are currently at the scene of a dead-body investigation in the 8100 block of Mulholland Terrace. The coroner is en route.
That address is located near the intersection of Mullholland Drive and Laurel Canyon Boulevard, a nice residential area tucked deep in the Hollywood Hills:

Although the investigation is ongoing, Officer Joseph says there is "no suspicion of foul play" at this time. He will not comment on whether the victim's cause of death could have been an overdose.
Stallone's fans on Twitter call him a "major driving force in grindhouse film preservation." His company preserved classics like Cannibal Holocaust and I Drink Your Blood.
His dad has yet to comment on this afternoon's devastating news, but the elder Stallone has reportedly been at Comic-Con this week promoting The Expendables 2 with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dolph Lundgren.
