Pothole Swallows Motorcycle Cop's Bike Near Downtown L.A: He's Hospitalized With Cuts And Bruises
We've told you for quite some time how much we love the nationally acclaimed roads of L.A. While the City Council hoards millions in redevelopment funds for rich guys and corporate developers, we suffer thousands in damage to our vehicles from tire-popping, wheel-bending potholes.
Well, public servants aren't immune to being swallowed by the mean streets of Los Angeles.
A sheriff's motorcycle cop responding to train-versus-car collision near downtown last night suffered cuts and bruises when his bike hit a pothole and ...
... he was thrown off of it, according to NBC LA.

He was hospitalized and his wounds were described by Cecil Manresa of the Los Angeles Fire Department as "nothing life-threatening."
The crash happened around 6 p.m. when the officer was responding to the Blue Line collision, which sent a 25-year-old Honda driver to the hospital with critical injuries.
He hit the hole on 18th Street under the 10 freeway, according to NBC.
A wake up call for City Hall? We doubt it. Besides, the deputy works for the county.
