Paris Jackson Suicide Attempt Reported in Calabasas
In the middle of the new trial of the century, the Jackson family's multi-billion-dollar lawsuit against Anschutz Entertainment Group, Paris Jackson appears to have tried to commit suicide.
The 15-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson was hospitalized overnight after either an overdose or cutting a wrist or both, says TMZ:
All the L.A. County Sheriff's Department will say on the record is that deputies and county firefighters responded to "a medical situation on Prada de la Felicidad in Calabasas" about 1:27 a.m. today.
The department states that "privacy laws do not permit providing further details."
TMZ dragged out photos of Jackson in which she appeared to have cut or scratch marks on a wrist. The site says she threw a fit last night when she was not allowed to go to a Marilyn Manson show.
The drama came after a day in court in which an AEG executive, accused of helping to hire the doctor convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the 2009 death of the King of Pop, suggested Jackson matriarch Katherine Jackson and the star's children were engaged in extortion via the civil case.
But perhaps the teen's problems were closer to home. She tweeted this yesterday:
