Murder was the Case: LA Homicide No.'s 297, 298, Two Killed in Gang-Related Attack in El Sereno
Two people who were shot to death in a gang-related attack in El Sereno December 19 were identified as 32-year-old Michael Talamantes Jr. and 31-year-old Priscilla Jimenez.
The shooting occurred in the 3000 block of Warwick Avenue near Martin Street about 4:45 a.m., Saturday.

According to police reports, one gunman opened fire on a minivan carrying the pair. The minivan was riddled with at least a dozen bullet holes. According to a coroner's report, Talamantes was shot multiple times in the face, hand and torso. Jimenez was shot in the back and neck.
