Murder Was the Case: L.A. Homicide No. 243, Man Killed in Gang-Related Shooting in East Hollywood
A 33-year-old man was killed in a gang-related shooting in eastern Hollywood October 3. The shooting of Saul Ayala occurred at an apartment building in the 4500 block of Clinton Street near Ardmore Avenue, about 11:55 p.m. Saturday.

When police arrived, they found Ayala on a staircase with multiple gunshot wounds to his neck and face. Police believe Ayala was a gang member. So are the two man who allegedly attacked him. Anyone with information should contact Olympic Division detectives at (213) 382-9470.
