Murder Was the Case: L.A. Homicide No. 192, Robbery Suspect Killed by LAPD is Identified

UPDATE: Los Angeles Police Department detectives shot a robbery suspect to death on August 6. According to police reports, detectives were conducting a surveillance operation about 3:30 pm at a Metro PCS store near 49th Street and Wadsworth when four male suspects attempted to rob the store.
The police killed one of the suspects, identified as 19-year-old Jessie Long. Two other suspects are in custody. Their identities have been withheld for now. It is unclear whether the suspects shot at police or whether they were carrying any weapons. Anyone with information should contact Robbery Homicide at 213-485-2511.
