Murder Was the Case: L.A. Homicide No. 184, Teenager Gunned Down
A teenager was gunned down August 3 while walking down a street. Jeremy Burrell, 17, was walking in the 3400 block of West 63rd Street when he was confronted by a group of African American males who drew handguns and began firing at him, according to police.

Burrell was struck several times and transported to a local hospital where he died of his injuries. The shooters escaped in a full-size van. Police say the shooting appears to be gang-related. Anyone with information should contact 77th Division detectives at (213) 485-1383.
