According to police reports, Akop Aduryan was arguing while standing on the sidewalk in the 7500 block of Goodland Avenue around 11 p.m. when a suspect opened fire, striking him in the chest. It is unclear whether the shooter was the same man who got into an argument with Aduryan or whether someone else was responsible. Regardless, the shooter fled the scene immediately. A witness heard arguing in a foreign language, then gunshots and called 911. Anyone with information should contact North Hollywood detectives at (818) 623-4045.
