Murder Was the Case: L.A. Homicide No. 169, Man Shot in San Pedro Identified
The man who was shot to death in San Pedro on July 21 was identified as 45-year-old David Medina.

Medina was found fatally wounded about 10:45 p.m., Tuesday, in the 1700 block of South Mesa Street. He had been shot in the upper body and was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries at 11:15 p.m. Police said there were no witnesses to the murder.
