Murder was the Case: LA Homicide No. 123, Man Shot Sitting on Porch
A man was shot while he was sitting on his porch in the 200 block of West 2nd Street in the Harbor area at Midnight on June 5. According to preliminary police reports, the victim was sitting on his porch when a man walked up to him, an argument erupted and the suspect pulled out a handgun and shot him. The victim was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he died of his injuries.
No word yet on the name of the victim or suspect. Police said the shooting was gang related.
