Murder was the Case: Homicide No. 134, South Los Angeles Shooting
A 23-year-old man identified as Timothy Gerome Sanders was shot to death on June 20.

The shooting happened around 10:50 p.m. outside the parking lot of a liquor shop at 92nd Street and Central Avenue in South Los Angeles. According to preliminary police reports, multiple shots were fired from a black Monte Carlo. Sanders was hit several times, then fled into an alley where he collapsed. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died. Police believe the shooting may have been gang-related.
