Man Allegedly Tried to Kill LAPD Officer During Traffic Stop (VIDEO)
A driver allegedly tried to kill a Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle during a traffic stop on the border of L.A. and Beverly Hills, authorities said. Some of the clash was caught on video, below.
The man allegedly punched the cop in the face, told him, "I'm going to kill you," and even pulled down his own pants during the shocking confrontation, according to KTLA News.
LAPD Officer Jane Kim didn't have those details for us, but she did say the suspect was arrested on suspicion of ...
... "attempted murder on a police officer."
The confrontation happened at 11:30 a.m. yesterday on Wilshire Boulevard at San Vicente Avenue, she said. That's on a border between L.A. and Beverly Hills.

"A West Traffic [Division] officer conducted a traffic stop, and the driver exited and engaged the officer in a physical altercation," Park said. "The officer asked for help from fellow officers."
Video of the struggle appears to show a passerby trying to help the cop as he cuffs the suspect.
KTLA News says the suspect was the subject of two earlier police calls to a residence in Beverly Hills, where local cops responded to deal with a dispute between neighbors.
The officer was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries to a hand and shoulder, Kim told us.
"We're planning on booking the suspect for attempted murder on a peace officer based on his actions and his comments," she said.
