Live Nude Sex Demo in Los Angeles Will Recreate Controversial Northwestern University 'Kinky People' Seminar

It was a traumatic experience for the administrators at the button-down campus of Northwestern University: Psychology Professor J. Michael Bailey invited his human sexuality class to an optional "Networking for Kinky People" seminar that had a woman being stimulated to orgasm by a man and a sex toy called a "fucksaw."

Well, leave it to L.A., the American capital of kinky people, to reprise the controversial performance, complete with the original presenter, Ken Melvoin-Berg.

It all happens Saturday at ...

... Silver Lake's Stockroom, the exclusive retailer of the device, according to Xbiz.

What was the point again?

"I certainly have no regrets concerning Northwestern students who have demonstrated that they are open-minded grownups rather than fragile children," the prof stated after the controversy erupted in late February and early March.

Here's what Stockroom honcho Mike Herman tells Xbiz about the Saturday demo:

We're offering a first-hand look at what actually happened, under all the controversy. The use of the toy live in Chicago was framed by a broader discussion of what the toy was used for, and how the people demonstrating it felt about doing so. It was a legitimate example of a kinky toy used within the logic of a kink lifestyle. Seeing everything in context will make the educational value of what took place very clear.

Well, in this case the context is also cash. Because Stockroom is charging $20 at the door.

Is this even legal? We certainly hope so.

The magic happens from 4 to 7 p.m. at 2809 ½ W. Sunset Blvd. And, uh, notebooks-in-hand or not, you have to be at least 18, kids.
