Lohan always insists that she's reformed from her cocaine party-girl days, which included a DUI in Santa Monica and a necklace "borrowing" incident in Venice. But general speculation is that she's still a slave to drug and alcohol addiction, and the pressure of young Hollywood in general.
The constant photo shoots as tragic figure Marilyn Monroe -- and her new made-for-TV role as Elizabeth Taylor -- haven't helped.
Update: TMZ confirms, after talking to the usual "sources," that Lohan was indeed found unresponsive this morning -- but was never transported to a hospital.
"We're told someone became alarmed because they could not wake her up and the person called 911," reports TMZ. But when paramedics arrived, they "determined nothing was wrong with Lindsay."
The episode is being blamed on her grueling work schedule:
Lindsay had been shooting almost non-stop without sleep for 2 days and was staying at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey to get some shut eye.
Last October, Dr. Drew predicted that Lohan would be dead within a year.
