Laser Hair Removal Guy Licked, Touched Customers' 'Private Areas,' Cops Say
Antonio "Ali" Nozar is not licensed by the state to remove hair, yet he apparently managed to do just that, and more, at his Smooth Skin Laser Clinic at 1016 E. Broadway in Glendale, according to police.
Nozar, 48, is accused of posing as a doctor and using his business to sexually assault clients, cops are alleging.
He was arrested yesterday on suspicion of sexual battery and operating a business without proper licensing. The doctor whose name he allegedly used, 76-year-old Hooshang Tabibian, is also the subject of a warrant as police believe he allowed Nozar to use his name in exchange for cash. Tabibian is wanted for "unlawful practice of medicine," according to a statement released by Glendale police.
Cops say Nozar sexually violated his patients on multiple occasions. On Aug. 12 he assaulted a 28-year-old client, they alleged.
