L.A. Nightlife: Sexy Tales and Other Intimate Acts Nov. 17
There's a variety show going on Wednesday night and it's all related to sex, which means you all should go.
The Sexy Tales and Other Intimate Acts stage show is taking place Nov. 17 from 7-9:30 at hip flamenco spot El Cid. Sex writer and educator Jamye Waxman (who also happens to be an AfterDarkLA contributor) is producing and hosting the event, which means there will be all kinds of puns, blowjob jokes and a whole lot of glitter.
The night will feature erotic readings, sex advice, dancing, live music and some erotic art and photography from the city's top taboo performers:
- Tranny performance artist Morty Diamond
- The west side's premier sexy couple, Freddy and Eddy
- AfterDarkLA editor Anne Hodder (yeah, that's why I'm especially psyched)
- America's Beloved Porn Journalist Gram Ponante
- The Erotic Rockstar Destin Gerek
- Hooping by Suzy LeeLo
- With special guest cigarette girls Kelly Shibari and April Flores
Plus there will be sexy giveaways and raffles (think luxury Swedish sex toys, erotica DVDs, classic porn and other sexcessories worthy of being stored under your bed) so you'd be nuts not to check it out. At least take home a cockring.

Now this is a virgin experience, but all you really need for a successful "first time" is genuine sexual energy and an Enya CD or two.
Fortunately for all of you the CD player's broken so instead Fogelfoot, deemed America's Only Alternative History Band, has been booked to play all night.
I'll bring lube, too. Just in case.
