L.A. Is One of America's Top Trick-or-Treat Towns
Lina Lecaro for L.A. Weekly
Los Angeles is a spooky place.
Sure, we don't have creepy clowns roaming random streets. But our rents are frightening. The condition of our roads is terrifying. And just dreaming of buying a house here will give you the shivers. The horror.
The annual Trick-or-Treat Index from the folks at real estate website Zillow says that L.A. is the second best city in America for getting your candy on during the October 31 beer holiday we call Halloween:
Los Angeles moved up four places from number 6 on its list of 20 top trick-or-treat towns in 2013, Zillow says. Why? Because we have what you need, according to Zillow:
The index represents cities that will provide the most candy, in the least amount of time, with the fewest safety risks.
Unfortunately L.A. was beaten out for the top spot by our nemesis. Says the site: "San Francisco stole the coveted title for the fourth year in a row."
