Krystina Cordasco, Missing 14-Year-Old Feared Used By Pimp, Found Safe: Police Say There Could Be Other Victims Of Suspect Leroy Bragg
Police on Monday said a missing 14-year-old believed to have been used by an alleged pimp was found safe, but that he could have put dozens of others of teenage girls on the streets is Southern California.
Los Angeles police Capt. Ann Young called the victims' experience allegedly working for Leroy Bragg "traumatic."
Authorities believe 14-year-old Krystina Cordasco, a runaway from Upland, was put to work before she was found. Another girl, a 13-year-old from Hawthorne, was also alleged to be one of Bragg's victims.
KCAL9 news reported that a couple of his victims were found on a street corner in South Los Angeles, possibly sparking the investigation. Whether there really are dozens more victims remains to be seen. Police want anyone with information about Bragg to step forward.
Thirty-four-year-old Bragg was arrested Tuesday in Hawthorne after police reportedly cornered him in a backyard.
The alleged pimp is known as "Snipe King," cops said. He pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges of burglary, human trafficking and pimping minor girls.
The FBI has joined the investigation of Bragg and his alleged "human trafficking" ring.
Anyone with info on Bragg was asked to drop a dime: 213-486-0957.
