Katsutoshi Takazato: Love Triangle Allegedly At The Heart Of Beverly Hills Murder
Murder charges were filed against a couple in the stabbing death of a Beverly Hills man earlier this week. The filing indicates that a love triangle precipitated the death of Katsutoshi Tony Takazato, a 21-year-old whose body was discovered about 6 a.m. Tuesday at the front of his father's Trousedale Estates home.
Arraignment for Scott Joseph Barker, 23, and Chie Alexandra Coggins Johnson, 20, was scheduled this afternoon at Beverly Hills Superior Court. A third suspect arrested in the case was released.
The District Attorney's filing claims that Johnson was the ex-girlfriend of the victim and that Barker is the woman's current boyfriend. Barker allegedly became enraged to hear that Takazato supposedly physically abused the woman.
The victim's father, Fuminori Hayashida, is a film producer.
