Justin Bieber Sex Tape? Biebs Gets Punked in Calabasas as Video Stolen
Justin Bieber might have been the victim of a "swatting" prank early today, when deputies went to his Calabasas home on "false" reports of an assault, according to our reading of an L.A. Sheriff's Department statement.
This as he tweeted that "personal footage" on a "computer and camera" were taken during a show yesterday in Tacoma, Wash.
Noting his anger, Gawker wondered aloud if it was a "sex tape." (Yeah, right.) Meanwhile, back at the ranch ...
... TMZ says "cars, helicopters, the works" were sent to Casa Biebs after someone reported that a person was waving a gun there.
The site says law enforcement reported that it was indeed a "swatting" prank (the word refers to sending in police SWAT teams), sparked via a smartphone app that can mask one's phone number and voice.
As Bieber has been on tour (he indicates on Twitter that he's in his native Canada tonight), he was not home during all the commotion.
yesterday during the show me and my tour manager josh had some stuff stolen. really sucks. people should respect other's property— Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) October 10, 2012
sucks when u take personal footage and people dont respect your privacy.— Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) October 10, 2012
The sheriff's department would only say that ...
... There was a possible assault in the 25000 block of Prado Del Grandioso, Calabasas.
When deputies arrived at the location they contacted security personnel and determined the information reported was false.

The Biebs punking follows what appears to be a similar prank at the Hollywood Hills home of Ashton Kutcher last week.
