Here's Your Black Friday Mall Traffic Cheat Sheet
The folks at traffic data company Inrix have crunched the numbers on Black Friday mall traffic, providing the 411 on the busiest shopping hours if you want avoid the usual pandemonium.
Not only that, but the Inrix people have figured out which malls in the United States are the busiest. One in the Los Angeles area made the company's top 10 (see which one, below).
Maybe you want to avoid it. Or maybe you like elbow stuffing as a Thanksgiving encore:

First, the retail crush. Inrix looked at its traffic data and figured out the mall rush hours of Black Friday:
-The peak congestion time is 2 p.m.
-The worst crowds are between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
They also figured out the least busiest time:
-The golden hour is 9 a.m.
-The least crowded time blocks are before noon or after 6 p.m.
Of course, all this means you might miss the midnight or 5 a.m. "door busters." But you might also return home with a few gifts and your sanity intact.
Might we also suggest avoiding Black Friday shopping altogether? Inrix says "traffic can be up to three times as busy as a typical Friday around the local mall."
And here's the local shopping center that made Inrix's list of America's top 10 most-congested malls:
Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, which peaks with humanity between noon and 2 p.m., Inrix says.
