Heather Locklear Cited In Alleged Hit-And-Run
Actress Heather Locklear, who has had trouble behind the wheel in the past, was cited on suspicion of misdemeanor hit-and-run over the weekend in her hometown of Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Star newspaper.
The 48-year-old actress allegedly ran into a street sign in the 1100 block of North Lakeview Canyon Road at 4 a.m. Saturday,Capt. Eric Dowd of the Ventura County Sheriff's Department told the paper.
After checking out a report about the knocked down sign Saturday night, something led deputies to Locklear's car, and they claim to have found evidence of damage linking the vehicle to the sign's downfall.
Locklear is due in court May 17. Last year Locklear faced a driving-under-the-influence charge that was subsequently dropped in a plea bargain.
